Valkyria Chronicles, one of the best PS3 games is finally getting a PC release. How's the PC port? good bad? mediocre? and is the game really good?

Identifying Different Tiers of Pay to Win in Games
In my last article regarding Archeblade I talked a bit about
that game being Pay to Win and I wanted to write more about Pay to Win in
games. I see the term being thrown around quite a lot lately and most of the
time people are just using the term Pay to Win to anything that offers
microtransactions in it. A Free to Play game with microtransaction does not
make it Pay to Win, and while I can just write about how this is the case I
will instead write about how you can decide for yourself whether a game is Pay
to Win or not.
Digital Platform Trend
With the success of Steam, other companies have stepped up
and try to get a slice of the digital platform cake. Big boys like EA with
Origin and Ubisoft with uPlay and Blizzard with Battle.Net Launcher or even MMO
companies like Perfect World with Arc, Aeria Games with Ignite and Trion Worlds
with Glyph. They are all now competing with each other, trying to get ahead of
Steam who already had an enormous lead.

5 Upcoming MOBAs to Keep Watch On
MOBAs or DOTA Clones or whatever you want to call them are
really popular right now with League of Legends and DotA 2 in the forefront
with some other title such as SMITE, Heroes of Newerth and Awesomenauts also
having quite a lot of players. Naturally, developers will jump into the
bandwagon and start producing various MOBAs of their own.
Are Early Access Games Detrimental To The Gaming Industry?
Releasing games when they are not ready seems to be a trend
in the gaming industry nowadays. Some are released filled with bugs and some
just flat out not work. Most of the time, these unfinished games are released
because of time limitation or the devs are just forced to release it ahead of
time. In some cases, developers release their game in an unfinished state and
have the players test it out for them. A few years ago people will call this
bullshit, but nowadays we call it Early Access.

War Thunder: Ground Forces Open Beta Impressions
I like tanks, and even though I don’t have complete
knowledge about every World War 2 era tanks(or even modern ones) I enjoyed
games that showcases tank combat. I played World of Tanks a year ago for a few
months and really enjoyed it. Of course the fact that I used some mods to make
the game more reminiscent of a certain anime also helps further improve my
overall enjoyment of the game.
Marvel Heroes 2015 Review
The Online Action RPG Marvel Heroes by Gazillion
Entertainment has been released for one year now and it hadn’t gotten
particularly great reviews when it came out. A year passed and Gazillion
improved and added a lot of things to the game, but does those changes really
make a difference?

Phantasy Star Online 2 Beta Impressions
Phantasy Star Online 2 is one of those games that really
takes its time to be released in western market and while it’s waiting,
dedicated players have found ways to play it on the currently available
servers. The South East Asian server went up a while ago and I decided to give
the game a try and of course to no surprise, it’s pretty clear why a lot of
people go to such an extent to play the game. For this review, I played the
South East Asian version of PSO2 so I will use the terms used in that version
and not the terms used in the Japanese version or in the unofficial translation
patch.
Archeblade Review
In a market filled with First Person Shooters and MOBAs, a
game that combines some fighting game and action elements to arena-based
matches does sound quite interesting. And that is exactly what Codebrush tries
to bring with their game, Archeblade.
